Education Commission

The mission of the Education Commission of
St. Margaret Mary Parish is to explore, study and recommend policies and programs pertinent to faith formation and education in the parish community. The purpose of the commission shall be to provide council and advice in the implementation of faith formation and educational opportunities for all.

The Education Commission consists of 4-6 parishioners elected to serve staggered three year terms. Member responsibilities include defining objectives and setting policies to guide the pastor and the Faith Formation Director in their work to provide comprehensive and varied programs of religious education. Elections usually take place in the Spring, with nominations taking place in the weeks prior. If you or someone you know would make a good candidate for the Education Commission, names can be submitted to the Parish Office at any time for consideration in the next election.
