The St. Margaret Mary Rosary Makers are dedicated to making and distributing handmade rosaries to the community and to the missions around the world, encouraging prayer to God through devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary.
The Rosary Makers began making rosaries in 1955 and received a plaque from Our Lady's Rosary Makers in February 1982 acknowledging the group's beginnings. The plaque hangs outside the parish office.
In addition to providing rosaries to the missions, the Rosary Makers distribute their handmade rosaries to St. Margaret Mary's First Communicants, Confirmation Candidates, RCIA Candidates and Gift Donors. The group meets on the first Monday of the month at 1 pm in the Holy Family Room to pray the rosary, teach the art of making wire rosaries and to repair rosaries if needed.
Anyone young, old, male or female are welcome!
